Outlander’s Caitriona always the strong woman

Outlander’s Caitriona Balfe was nominated for a Golden Globe in the category Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series – Drama and even though the award went to Elizabeth Moss from The Handmaid’s Tale, Cait was still a winner to Outlander fans.

Caitriona tweeted out prior to attending the Globe’s ceremonies that she was under the weather.  This strong woman could have easily stayed in her cozy bed but NOOO she put on her big girl panties, took meds and when to the awards looking as stunning as ever.

Caitriona along with the majority of the ladies at the Golden Globes wore black to represent the “Time’s Up” movement. Meaning the clock has run out on sexual assault, harassment and inequality in the workplace.

Even though there was little mentioned about “who” all the Globe ladies were wearing, which I might add is a welcome change, Caitriona was wearing a black autumn/winter Chanel gown from the 2017 couture collection. And she wore it well.

Her hairstylist was Harry Josh.

When you ask for one quick shot before your girl walks out and you get this😍😍😍 thanks @caitrionabalfe #babe

You also might have noticed a bit of bling on Caitriona’s left hand. Seems Cait got engaged to long time boyfriend Tony McGill over the Christmas holiday.

Congratulations Caitriona & Tony! We wish you every happiness.

Also the Outlander SoCal gang were out to support Caitriona at the Golden Globes and Cait commented that their support was mentioned several times by others on the red carpet. Even though she missed seeming them herself.

Outlander is now filming season 4 and is rumored to return in the fall of 2018 on the Starz network.
